Kristian Wahlström will defend his doctoral dissertation entitled

"Student-Centered Musical Expertise in Popular Music Pedagogy and Hard Rock Groove – A Design-Based and Psychodynamic Approach"

in the Faculty of Arts, University of Helsinki,

on Saturday, 14 May 2022, at 10:00 am.

The public examination will take place at the following address: Porthania, Sali PII, Yliopistonkatu 3.

Professor Gareth Dylan Smith (Boston University) will serve as the opponent, and Professor Susanna Välimäki as the custos.
